FRANCISCO BAUER NOVOAjoined Estudio Carvallo in 2020 as partner. Previously, he served as paralegal at Estudio Barros & Errázuriz. In 2001 he joined the former insurance company Royal & Sun Alliance serving as a lawyer. He was part of the legal area, where he pursued his professional career. In 2006 he took over as head lawyer of the company that was renamed RSA Seguros and, finally, in 2010, he was appointed as Corporate Lawyer of the company, which in 2016 was taken over by the Sura Group.
His professional practice includes Corporate Law, Regulatory Compliance and Insurance and Reinsurance Law, with significant experience in relevant litigation of liability and insurance contract derivatives. He studied law at the Finis Terrae University, with postgraduate and specialization studies at the Universidad del Desarrollo and UC Berkeley Extension.
Member of the Chilean Bar.
