FRANCIA VILLEGAS joined the firm in 2012. Previously, she had acted as a Lawyer at the Dirección de Previsión de Carabineros de Chile between 2010 and 2012.
Her areas of practice are: Civil and Employer’s Liability, Labor and Social Security Law.
With a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Universidad Central de Chile and a Post-graduate degree in Labor and Social Security Law from Universidad de Talca (Chile) as well as Universidad de Valencia (Spain), she also holds diplomas on the “Right to Health and Medical Liability” from Universidad Diego Portales and one on “Bioethics” awarded by the Universidad Católica de Chile.
She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economic Law and Labor in the School of Law of Universidad Central de Chile between 2011 and 2016.
At present, she is a Regular Professor of the Litigation Workshop of Universidad Mayor’s School of Law and also Regular Professor of Litigation at Universidad de Talca.
