MANUEL CARVALLO starts out as a legal assistant for Estudio Carvallo Valparaíso in 1992. In 1997, he joined Crawford Liquidadores de Seguros as Legal Advisor. In 1999, he joined Estudio Carvallo Santiago as lawyer, and at the end of 2005, he establishes the companies Legaltec and LSI, which are intended to provide massive legal services. In July 2010, he takes over as Partner and Managing Director of Estudio Carvallo.
His practice is focused on Insurance Law, Litigation and Class Actions by Consumers. Lately, he has specialized in the development and implementation of massive insurance products.
He went to Law School at the Catholic University of Valparaiso and has a Master in Business Administration at the Adolfo Ibañez University.
He has served as assistant professor of the Procedural Law School at the Catholic University of Valparaiso and the Adolfo Ibañez University. He is currently a professor at the Chilean Insurance School. He has given a number of speeches, lectures and seminars on Insurance and Class Actions by Consumers.
He is a member of the Chilean Lawyers Bar and Association of Insurance Lawyers AIDA - Chile. Member of AIDA’s Board of Directors between 2007 and 2013 and President thereof between 2013 and 2015.
