FRANCISCA ROMÁN joined Estudio Carvallo Abogados in August 2010. Previously, she served as senior lawyer at the law firm Urrutia & Cia., Telefónica Móviles Chile and Álvarez Hinzpeter Jana y Valle, among others.
Her areas of specialty are Civil and Commercial Litigation in the national and international arbitration jurisdiction and ordinary courts of justice and alternative dispute resolution.
She went to Law School at the University of Chile. In 2001, she studied a Diploma Course in “Torts” at the University of Chile.
She served as assistant professor in Civil and Tax Law, and since 2011, she is Assistant Professor of the Department of Private Law of the Law School of the University of Chile.
She is a member of the Chilean Bar and of the Association of Insurance Lawyers (AIDA) of Chile.
Languages: Spanish and English (TOEFL certification).
